“I have been meditating on my own for a several years but I found it difficult to keep up with my practice when I first came to Georgetown. I discovered the John Main Center late in my freshman year but it was only after I made the Prayer in Daily Life Retreat this past fall that I began making a concerted effort to fit group meditations into my schedule. Since then, I’ve really grown to love the feeling of community that the Center provides; it motivates and enriches my meditation practice. I’m so grateful that such a peaceful and welcoming place exists on our campus.”
